🚙🚗THE DRIVE.
The road is fairly newer with a gradual climb. Until the last 8 minutes of the drive the climb begins to get a little steep with a couple sharp turns. The GPS will take you right underneath the cabin. Just continue down the road for one more bend. You can’t miss us. The driveway is large enough for two full size trucks and a car. A car with 4x4 is highly recommended in winter months.

🔥THE FIREPLACE is ran off propane. There is a timer next to the porch door on the mantle. Just turn the timer and the fireplace will turn on. If the fireplace does not turn on after turning the timer. Don’t worry you can give me a call or I can give you a step by step instructions on how to turn it on.

Other things to note
***We drain out hot tub water every turn so it is refresh for the new guests. Because of that, the hot tub could take 5-7 hours to heat up for the first night of your stay. If you plan on using hot tub on the first night (especially for one night stay), please make sure to have the temperature on 101 and keep the lid on (sometimes it will go into sleep mode). It will heat up at night.
***Propane tank: We provide two propane tanks for the outdoor fireplace and our cleaner typically replaces them when they run out. However, if they are on a tight schedule, they may not be able to do so before your arrival. If the gas runs out during your stay and you need to use the fireplace, we kindly ask for your help in swapping the tank at a nearby store. We'll gladly reimburse you for the cost if you send us the receipt.
***Ladybug season
From Oct to the end of November. In this area of Tennessee during this time there could be more than average amounts of ladybugs flying around. Seeing ladybugs alive flying around or dead bugs in the cabin is no sign for alarm. The cabin has been cleaned and sprayed.
***Travel insurance is STRONGLY recommended especially during winter season. No refund will be issued due to the weather condition.
*** You are in the wilderness and may come in contact with bears, turkeys, bugs, and other critters! This is normal and while we do perform regular critter/pest maintenance, not everything can be avoided when staying in the wilderness. Please be respectful of their space in the wild. DO NOT leave food in cars and be sure to keep windows and car doors locked.
****The cabin is on well and septic. Please don't flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Well water may come out with a tint or slight smell to it. Let it run for a moment and it should clear up. This can also stain or affect the color of the toilets and hot tub. This is nothing to be concerned about as it is all natural. You can drink the water, but we recommend buying bottled water.
***Mountain WiFi: we are in the mountains so although we do have internet and streaming services (Guests login with their own account). WiFi capabilities may be limited by weather and signals.
***We only charge nightly fee and one-time cleaning fee. Any other charges are Platform fees and taxes which are out of our control.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Forty-seven percent (47.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
